What do volunteers do?
HandsOn Tech Boston matches you with a nonprofit that can put your tech expertise to good use.
Projects often include website redesigns, migrations to Google Apps, and social media strategy development.
We support both you and the nonprofit throughout your volunteer experience to ensure that the project is a success. Projects can be designed to fit your schedule.
What skills are needed?
"HandsOn Tech has provided me with the opportunity, as well as the tools and resources to collaborate with an excellent organization (Thrive in 5) that I would have otherwise never had the opportunity to work with. They’ve done an exceptional job matching my qualifications and expertise with Thrive in 5’s technical needs, as well as facilitating communications to insure that we are able to meet our project’s main objectives."
-Andy Danesi, HandsOn Tech Boston Volunteer
"The team at Hands on Tech are a delight to work with. They are true thought partners committed to bringing high-impact training to nonprofits. They are always willing to take the time to share their insights and training knowledge to help us ensure our content is well received and effective, and that the training event itself is well run and well attended."
